Creative lead and UI/UX design for a cycling and “on foot” exploration site.
Objective
Our objective was to create a brand, expressed through a website, that is synonymous with fun and exploration, provided delight, and motivates hikers, runners, and cyclists to get out on new roads for fun. It is for everyone, not just spandex-wearing athletes in serious training, but also for group of friends who want to see that mural, or the family that wants to visit that goat farm the next county over.
Approach
After interviewing the stake holder and creating a Creative Brief, I began research and exploration of design concepts. After the design concept process, I finalized the identity and color palette, and began on user flows and sitemap to redesign the website. After wireframes, I began the high fidelity design, iconography, illustrations and branding guidelines. The last phase is still ongoing.
