Creative lead and UI/UX design for a biopharmaceutical app.

Objective

Our objective was to create a Digital Therapeutic to support patients and caregivers in their healing journey, empower them with streamlined and contextual education, address barriers through timely holistic support, and nurture accountability through choice and control to enable improved outcomes.

Approach

We utilized Design Sprint Workshops and co-created with one of the largest biopharmaceutical companies in the world bring to life their goal of The Future of Self-Injection to create a visionary application for patients, caregivers, and nurses. From interviews with subject matter experts and running workshops, creating user flows and building rapid prototypes, establishing branding guidelines and conducting user testing, to creating the final design—as the creative lead—I oversaw and contributed heavily in all phases of the project.

Patient AppLICATION and Welcome kit

After much discovery and many pivots, our path forward was to provide targeted, personalized, contextual guidance for patients (and caregivers), engaging them where they are in their therapy journey through a personalized welcome kit, daily health tracking, and at-home injection support.

NURSE-Admin portal

Through our discovery, we learned that nurses are a major part of helping patients through their healing journey by assisting with the first injection and providing support and accountability. The portal empowers nurses with (selective) patient data that allows them to provide timely holistic support.
